I have been working on rebuilding my credit over the last 3-4 years. I went through a divorce and my finances were not in the best conditions. I have had the Capital One secured card since 2012 ($800 CL) and the BoA secured card since 2013 (which became unsecured after 1 year and has a $400 CL). I applied for the Capital One QS One card last month and received a $3k CL!! I was so excited. The card is so new that my first bill isn't due yet.
Since my approval I have been checking to see if I am pre-qualified for any additional offers but nothing came up....... until today!! When I checked today, I was pre-qualified for a Venture card and the QS card. I decided to apply for the Venture card (I was feeling especially lucky today). I was approved for a CL of $15k!! I couldn't believe it. I am going to work on spending enough to earn the 40k bonus miles... def looking forward to it.
I am going to be gardening for a while now.
