No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Typically when you apply for a new card, the issuer includes what score and sometimes the model used when making their decision. This (in my experience) has been the case whether approved or declined.
My question is, where can this information be located for Capital One? Amex, Discover, etc. have included it. Does Capital One not do this?
My experience with Capital One is that they send you an email, sometimes a day or two later after applying, that provides login instructions to see your credit score and AA letter if not approved.

I got the Venture in December and I received info alongside my new card with the score used. I believe it was on the back of the letter with the card attached. The score model used (or listed in the letter) was Bankcard Score 4. But it was a double-pull--Equifax and TransUnion. Bankcard 4 is a TU model not an EQ model. So that's a bit weird.

I find this to be normal, especially if denied. I know that each of my Amex cards came with scores for my approvals. I find it strange that I am not locating this anywhere in the paperwork with my new card.
You may have gotten it, or will get it in a welcome packet. This is what happened with my PlayStation card.

My experience with Capital One is that for new applications they triple pulled, and that for CLI applications they used an old EQ FICO 5 report they'd soft pulled.

I'm almost positive they triple pull all 3 bureau's.
At least that was my experience, i just went back and checked my CCT reports and Cap 1 was on all 3 when i applied for my QS1 in April of last year
They always use a previous version of FICO (EX: version 2 or 3; EQ: version 5: TU: version4)
