I got approved for a CO Quicksilver One Mastercard today. I also have a CO Secured Platinum Card that is 11 months old. They both have AF's of $39 QS, and $29 Plat.
Didn't like that these are the only cards I have that charge AF's. So, I did a chat with the CSR, and asked if there was an avenue to get one of the AF's if not both removed? Nothing wrong with asking. Of course, they coudln't do anything, but expected that. Looked on the forums and the internet and found a higher up guy, and e-mailed him.
Evidently, I got the right guy.
Tonight, my phone rings at 7:30pm est. I answered the phone, and a lady asked if she coudl speak to "Ranger6591" aka me! She said she was from *******'s office and he received my e-mail. She said they had looked over my request and that she was not only removing my AF on my Secured Card, but would also refund last years $29 AF which was paid. She told me I would get a letter next week showing what she did, and that it would also have some term changes that I will like in regards ot my Secured account. Not sure what those terms are yet.
I had no idea that sending a e-mail to someone that high up woud get something done the same day it was sent. Wow!
It is amazing what I have learned on this forum and site from the commentors and experts advise. I use it, and things just fricking happen!
