Capital One VentureOne 7-10 Day

I applied for the Capital One VentureOne card and received 7-10 day message. I called and they asked me 3 verification questions and said that I should receive an email within the next few days regarding the status of my application. Sound like a denial or approval?

Capital One doesn't hestitate to auto-decline, so the fact that they asked for verification is a good sign. It happened to me with their Playstation Visa. Ended up approved within a few days after the verification with a $10,000 SL and their lowest APR.

Sounds like an approval. I agree, why the verification needed if a decline.

They ran my credit as soon as I submitted the app so if they were going to deny it it would make no since for them to verify. Hopefully an approval and if not then oh well. My oldest credit card is only like 1 yr and 4 months so I think I would be lucky to be approved for the card.

OP the 7-10 days can go either way. So, best to wait until you get confirmation on the outcome. Lots of threads that provide either outcome since often times during manual review the application can still be declined. Just something to keep in mind.

Hopefully an approval due to requesting verification questions. But Cap1 can be a strange beast... Good luck! Hoping for an approval!

Sounds like a positive lean towards approved.  Why did you choose the V1 over the Venture?
