IIRC with Cap1 you can have up to 2 "fair" cards and 3 "good" cards. So when a Platinum PC's to a no-annual-fee QS, does that move it up a tier? Or is it still considered one of the fair cards like the QS1?
Have any of y'all had a Platinum and QS1, then PC'd the Plat to a no-AF QS and applied for another Plat or QS1 with them?
I would say it is upper level sub-prime. I had two Platinums and PC'd the both to Quicksilver MC's. It's still a Platinum.
So then in your case, you wouldn't be able to apply for a thrid platinum, correct?
IDK, if I could, I don't think I would want to. Just my own personal decision. I would say the Platinum is one step up if not a starter card. Don't want to go backwards.
True. I don't want another Platinum or QS1 (long term anyway) but am interested in the idea of combining with my QS after 6 months if CLI's don't come my way.
I PC'd both my Platinums to Quicksilver MC's before my third statement. The credit lines were both 500$ and I hit the LUV button one week after my second statement and they both went to 1500$. You can call or go on chat and ask if you are eligable for PC? Let me know!
I managed to convert my platinum MC to a no-AF World MC QS would that be considered a tier move?
I have heard of World MC, but I don't know enough to comment on it. What does it say on your on line Cap1 account summary.. Does the picture say Platinum.

Hmm... It says Quicksilver World MasterCard
It doesn't say Platinum next to the picture?
