Same thing happen to me and a week later they popped..

Just tried, they increased my QS1 (which is 9 days older than my QS MC) +500 .. My first CLI Smiley Happy

Got the dreaded "you will receive a message" for the QS MC. Guess I'll try in 9 days!

Thanks!

Don't give up.  Today I applied for both Venture and QS and was approved for $5k and $3k respectively.  Give it time.  Keep getting your score up and you will get there.  Congrats on your QS1 CLI.

I PC'd both my Platinums to Quicksilver MC's before my third statement. The credit lines were both 500$ and I hit the LUV button one week after my second statement and they both went to 1500$. You can call or go on chat and ask if you are eligable for PC? Let me know!

I already did the PC. That's not my question. I'm asking if AFTER you PC, does that turn it into a higher tier card? Meaning if you had two Platinums and PC'd them both to no-AF QS's, do you now have two higher tier cards and could (if you wanted to) apply for another lower tier card?

Yes. once you pc them up to the no AF cards. its not in the subprime catagory any more. Then you can apply for a total of 5 cards.

leaving the platinum AF and QS1 AF behind opens the doors For normal QS Visa if wanted. no difference than upgraded QS mc. Venture 1 and Venture afterwards. So after doing that you for sure can get more cards with them if you wanted to and now combine them and keep growing with cap one .

Congratulations on the CLI.

Don't apply for the lower tier cards. You've only had the cards a few months. Give Capital One a chance to see your payment history, then after another 6 months, app the regular Quicksilver no AF card. Moving up the CapOne tier structure is your most efficient way to get larger credit lines with them. Apping lower tier cards will most likely result in lower CL cards, for the same triple HP.
