The VentureOne is 12 months 0%. Which is what I need, and the prequalify APR is closer to the bottom end that they offer. Which in my mind would tell me a higher intial limit. Thats what I meant for the best.
In a perfect world i'd take the Freedom at 15 months 0% and a nice credit limit. haha. But if I have a higher chance at a higher limit with VentureOne and still get a 0% intro apr for 12 months that'd be a good win too.
Hell maybe i'll apply for 2 and have the travel agent split by trip costs on the two. They both would get some love than!! And I'd get my foot in the door with Chase and Capital One for future offers down the road.
If it were me. I'd apply for Freedom first. If approved, I'd immediately apply for a co-branded card. If approved, both accounts appear in seconds. Send a secure message asking to combine the card into Freedom then close it.
Chase Disney and Marriott seem to be handing out high limits lately.
Next, I'd go over to Cap 1 and apply for Venture and Venture 1 or a Venture and Quicksilver. You can combine them in 6 months.
You don't like overlapping APR periods, but only 2 cards will overlap...and they aren't the only 0% APR cards in town. Heck, you can go back a year from now and pick up 2 more Quicksilvers or Ventures. I have 3 Quicksilvers and 1 Venture. Each Quicksilver still gives the 0% APR and $100 cashback.
Well, crap Didn't get very good results with the Chase Freedom tonight.
$6000 STARTING LIMIT!

@turkey,
You seem good to go, but Discover could only answer this.
Look at it this way, it's only an EQ pull. No one but Comenity and Credit Unions pull EQ(rare instances, Chase).
I just applied.....
Congratulations, you've been approved!

Freedom gave you $6k?
You need to apply for an airline, or hotel card right now and then combine it to the freedom and just close it out.
Same with Venture One and QS... take both and in 3 months CLI both and in 6 months consolidate to just the 1 you want to keep!
