Capital One pre approval questions?

Approval.png Approval 2.jpg

Hey guys, quick question. I received this pre-approval email from Capital One today. I know the Savor One generally has an AF but I've looked through everything in the email and link and it appears this offer does not have an AF. Also, 9 months 0% intro APR. My question is when you receive these types of pre-approvals from Capital One are they still going to triple hard pull from all the bureaus?  Thoughts? Thanks.

Congratulations on your offer! I states no annual fee so you're good to go there. It is cap1 so I'd expect the triple whammy, if you don't get them then you've caught a unicorn!

Re: Capital One pre approval questions?

As above, expect a triple pull

Savor $95 annual fee.
Savor One No annual fee. 1% less on dining and restaurant rewards.

To my knowledge, the Savor One doesn't have any AF.  The Savor does, however.  That said it appears you received one of the "alternative" offers that do not have a SUB and the go-to APR is fairly higher.  I would pass on the offer unless you're dead-set on the approval terms and the SUB is a non-event for you.

And, yes, if you accept the offer it'll be a triple whipple.

Thanks guys. I'll pass on this one. The last thing i need is another card that gets bucketed and won't grow long term.

Re: Capital One pre approval questions?

Maybe if i call they will PC my quicksilver card. I have 2% on everything with PenFed so I'll likely never use it. They already PC'd me to the quicksilver from the platinum so we will see.

Odds are that QS is bucketed. Still good to see an offer. Good luck if you do go with it!

Congrats on the offer and thanks for the sharing the screenshotSmiley Happy @Anonymous .  I've been receiving invitations to apply daily which is clearly different from a pre-approval email.  Now I know what to look for.

Re: Capital One pre approval questions?

That's the Saver One pre-approval for Good credit. A tier below Excellent. They offer short promo period, but no SUB and higher APR.

Yes 3 HP. Saver One has no AF!

Re: Capital One pre approval questions?

Yeah, I know my quicksilver is bucketed and I also don't use it anymore and in all honesty, wouldn't use this one either. I get 2% on everything through PenFed so the 1% bump on dining only definitely isn't worth 3 HP's.
