My partners $50k QS and $20k spark were just security lock pending Drivers Licenses and Social Securitycards of him and all AU users.
He only has 2 AU on his account but they are asking for documents on 3, the 3rd was removed over an entire statement ago!!!

Ouch. Do you think your reaching out to them on Facebook caused them to look deeper? Did you and your partner use any of the same AUs? Do you share the same address? (I'm just looking for the link).

Re: Capital one Lock down

Yeah. Same address and 1 same AU.
Not saying not my fault but from a month ago?!!
You can't say "security concern" when they have been gone for over a month.

But for sure make sure if you add AU to capital one that are not relatives and don't live with you, you might be asked for docs!

Ya that is crap if the AU was removed a month ago. I can see asking for docs current AUs - actually, no I can't. An AU isn't responsible for payment on the card, so I'm not sure why they have provide verification. Unless there is something super shady going on with one of the AUs, I just don't see why this is necessary. It's not like they're co-applicants.

Re: Capital one Lock down

The card holder providing docs is not an issue... It's asking people that are not responsible for an account in any way for a drivers license and a social and further asking for documents from someone that has been off an account for over a month.

Re: Capital one Lock down

whats your utilization on the card? are you paying in full each month? Just take the AU off and provide your own documents. Tell them you don't fell comfortable providing socials for your AU because they are not responsible for the debt, nor a co-applicant. Still, I don't see the problem. Something shady going on...

They won't let him take the AUs off the account and they refuse to close the account because its locked. And I believe he already sent in his own docs like a month ago, just not the AUs. Now they have locked his partner's accounts as well and are asking for the same docs.
