Re: New Capital One Savor Launching Soon

I would contact them and ask for the source of the credit report... Including which version. You want to be sure they didn't inadvertently pull an incorrect report.

Re: Capital one approved me with wrong credit score 🙄

First Congrats on being approved !
I had the same type of wierd scenario happen to me, not when I applied for a new cc but when doing a cli with capital 1. Aboout 2-3 weeks ago when I app’d for a cli on my cap1 V1 got the dreaded 2-3 day message. When they sent the denial letter in my documents, it said it was denied because my credit score was to low and my credit score is def not low. On the bottom of the letter it references they pulled equifax that they pulled my EQ from June ! even though i applied in August. It said my score was a 652! Which same thing for me doesn’t make sense. my current eq score is 795, and when I go back to the date on MyFICO they said they pulled my score was a 752 at the time. So no idea where they got the score 652. I called capital one couple of times about this and I all I got was their systems are slow to update, but Still makes no sense. Seems to be a glitch with their system and equifax scores.

Cap one pulls all three, and I believe that they use Fico 8 for all of them.

They use a earlier version of FICO.

Re: Capital one approved me with wrong credit score 🙄

(UPDATE) Sorry it took me so long to get to my post lol but good news i was able to reinstate the savor card so the 3 hard pulls weren't for nothing and i hit my bonus and got the $500 and increased my credit limit to $5500 😁. Once September comes though i will More them likely do a product change and get out of the $95 annual fee.

I thought I was applying for Savor One and was approved for Savor.  Not too happy about the $95 AF.  Tried to get them to downgrade me but they act like that's impossible. Guess I will get the $500 SUB and downgrade later smh.  They should really do a better job marketing their cards.  It's too easy to choose the wrong card.

Re: Capital one approved me with wrong credit score 🙄

I had the same problem. I originally got approved in September for the savor one with no annual fee and 18 months interest free and it came in the mail with an annual fee and no interest free SMH. Bad business man. I'm down grading in September this year or I'll close the card.
