I applied for the Capitol One Secured card about 2 months ago but decided I didn't want it after approval so I never made the initial deposit. Realizing I have blank credit reports with nothing on them, I deceided to call customer service to pay the minimum deposit so that I could start building credit. The very thick accent foreigner advised me that I called just in the nick of time because 79 days had passed since my original application. She proceeded to ask me for my bank account information, which I gave to her and authorized the ACH debit in the amount of $200. This was 2 days ago and I have received no email, phone call or ACH debit from my bank account. Is this normal? How long does it take for them to pull funds?
It took about 7-10 days for mine.

Took about a week for me too. Have heard rumors that they will no longer take additional deposits, but as of now when I log in to pay or view balance, there is still a link to add money. Good luck with your card. It opened the door to my being approved for Barclays and Amex.
