So last Thursday I got my call from the EO and spoke with a really nice gal. After speaking with her about getting a CLI on my two Quicksilver cards.... Yes I have two of the same cards with different account and $1000 CL on each card. About two months ago I hit the luv button and I went from $750 to $1000 on both accounts. So yesterday I received two letters in the mail stating why I did not get the CLI. It said "There has recently been a change to the credit line on this account". I find this vey upsetting that they consider a $250 CLI on a 3 year old account a "change". I've had both cards for 3 years now and never missed a payment, payed more then the minimum amount due, carried a balance so they can make interest of of me and yes at times pay the balance in full even making multiple payments before my bill was cut. These were my to go cards I always used.
When I spoke with her I asked for a CLI of $4000 on each account and if that was not possible then I would be more then happy to accept a counter offer. I went ahead and emailed the EO again letting them know how disappointed I was with their discussion. I pretty much told them to please have another look and maybe over look that $250 CLI that they gave me a few months ago.
There are no negative marks on my credit everything is always paid on time, my EP 656 EQ 616 TU 645. I'm a joint account user on two cards that belong to my wife, a Best Buy $5500 CL with $4200 balance and Lexus Finacial CC $9500 CL with $3800 balance but we paid this balance off last week it still reporting on my credit. So my overall credit utilization sould drop to 25-30%.
