Just called in and cancelled the app so  the card doesnt hit the CR

So you take a HP for an app, you get approved for a low limit and you pull the app( first i've ever heard of this). What a waste of a HP.

Nope not the first. I've seen others do it as well. I did the same thing with US Bank.
Told them to keep it and give it to someone that could get more use out of it. Lol
It will still be on your reports however. Just shows as closed by consumer.

Is it me or does it seem as tho Capone has changed their starting limits on the "excellent credit" tier cards. The minimum limit is lower to get the cards, but so does the starting limits seem to be as well
