Card Recommendation

My Disney Premier Visa card is coming due for a CLI next month. I'm in a relationship with a flight attendant for a major airline, and because I'm being added to her flight benefits I'm considering adding another airline CC to my wallet due to increased trips. I'm thinking of the AAdvantage Executive World Elite MC from Citi (for Admirals Club access and AA has a decent international flight network), or the Marriott Boundless Visa since I also work for Marriott and the majority of my trips are at Marriott hotels on employee rates. There is a fraud alert on all three bureaus due to me recieving a adverse action letter from Synchrony on a card that I never submitted a pre-qualification app for so I know I am going to need to do an ID verification no matter what.

I can easily nail the SUB for either card by paying my rent on either card. I have a previous card CO w/ Chase (not paid at all), but have never been late with my Disney Visa and always PIF since it was opened last June, and I also have both a checking & savings account with them. I have a Shell Fuel Rewards card, and no other relationship w/ Citi. I'll drop to 3/24 on 3/1, and my last INQ was from Synchrony when I bought my Lenovo laptop on 10/2023. Overall utilization is 10%, and will drop 1-2% when the statement on my SkyMiles Amex closes and the CLi gets reported. Scores in sig are current as of 2/18.

Which card do you think I would have a better chance at getting? Should I try for the CLI with my Disney Premier Visa first, or would I be okay to app for the additional card first? My supervisor at my hotel also has a Boundless, and said he would be able to give me a referral link to apply through (not sure if that would have a difference versus a cold app though).

Re: Card Recommendation

I'd go for the new card first after March 1.

Re: Card Recommendation

From my personal experience and what I have read in other posts, AAdvantage Executive World Elite MC seems to give our larger credit lines.

You think I would have a better shot at the AAdvantage Executive World Elite MC?
