Card Strategy help. AMEX, PenFed, Chase??

Hey All

Tell me what you think strategy wise on what would be a good course of action.

I just was approved/received a 20K visa from my credit union.  My revolving Util when the card reports will be 6%.

I have a AMEX blue everday card with only $500 cl.  Had this card since '05.  CL was once 10K before I screwed up my credit years ago.

I also have Citi thankyou preferred $500cl

Wayfair $4000 cl

Fico 08 are all 721+ and I expect after the new card hits it will climb some.

My mix is good with Mtg ln, studnt ln, car ln, revolvers.

Bads EQ - 3 paid med collections and (2) 4 yr old 30-day lates from closed CC

EX - 1 paid med collection and (2)  4 yr old 30-day lates from closed CC

TU - 4 paid tax liens and (2)  4 yr old 30-day lates from closed CC

All have only 2 HPs ( aug 2015 - Oct 2016) - lowest AAoA 10yr 8 months

I do have an SCT offer from Overstock waiting but I don't really want another SCT card I may barely use.

I also have another what looks like a good prospect offer from Suntrust bank for a Platinum Elite MC.  I just don't want a card I have to pay $325anually.

So, should I wait for the new VISA to post to the CBs before applying for new credit?

I want to apply for Chase, AMEX, and Amazon or a combination of the three and join PenFed.  It looks like PenFed is generous to people with a good profile.

I should be able to apply for a AMEX CLI and another AMEX and it only be a SP.

I want to get a couple of cards under my belt before I garden the remainder of the year.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I'd wait for your new 20k account to report.

Then I'd do Penfed, Chase, then Amex. And skip Comenity & Suntrust since you don't want those.

Not sure as far as baddies though.

I agree with WaveRider as far as letting the new card report and order of apps.

As far as PenFed, I don't have any collections, charge-offs, or liens, but do have lates reported up to 17 months ago. I was instantly approved for a 5K and 6K card with them upon joining
