I wanted to try to increase my Care Credit card and the two reps I spoke to said that they will have to go a HP to see if they can increase the CL so I said no thanks. Has anyone been told that they have changed their policy back to the old way of always doing a HP? Bank of America told me that they do a HP for CLI and I said they did not do that the last two times and he said they have always done that I just don't know if they just don't know.

CLI requests for both are SP.
You can request a CareCredit CLI online, through their automated system or by contacting the Credit Solutions department.
If BoA displays the CLI link on your account, you can request it there. Otherwise, if the link isn't present, then reaching an agent is an option.
Legally, they have to read those [HP] disclosures even though it may not apply for your situation.

Thanks, that is what I thought but wanted to check to see if anything has changed.

It's always a good thing to check with the community. In the past, both of these particular ones were well-known to be HP for CLI requests, but not anymore.
I have also seen that banks are asking for tax docs I wounder what triggers that. If it's high debit or low credit rating or to much credit with one bank at any given time. I know that AMEX is know for this and now Discover, i wounder any other are now asking for that.

A variety of lenders can request POI at various intervals and for a variety of applicants. It just depends on the data provided by the applicant and a variety of other factors and resources that a lender has access to.
AmEX (AENB) is no stranger to IV requests, though. BoA, Capital One, Citi are also known to request it on occassion. Other lenders like FNBO do so as well in connection with a new application. By and large, most CU's (especially the more conservative ones) will likely request it as well.
