I joined today, and against my better judgement I applied for a goRewards card. My TU is 646 and my EX is 606. I have really high utilization right now, which is easy when you only have $4k in credit, lol. I am paying most down to under 20% on Friday--I know I should have waited to app. UGH. Anyway, I just sent a recon message with that information, as well as a copy of my check stubs (we are well over 6 figures). Any guess on my chances?? I feel like the only person to ever be turned down for a NCFU card. If denied, should I wait a few months before I try again, or do you think I can do so as soon as my utilization is down?

You're not the only person to be denied so don't feel too bad. They are pretty good with recons and the fct you already provided POI should definitely help. Good luck. If for some reason it remains a denial you should try again in 30 days after your utilization is down and reported to the bureaus, especially EQ which is what thye usually pull for card applications. You'll get there before long and the wait will be worth it.
Nope. No love for me today. It's my own fault, so I can't be too upset, lol. I knew I should have waited! On top of having high utilization, for some reason I thought they pulled EX. EQ dropped me 50 pts! when my Uti went up. It's all good. I'll just pay everything down, wait a couple of months and give it another go.
