I currently have a capital one quicksilver card and it is my primary credit card with a $3,000 balance. I first started with the capital one platinum card when my credit was REALLY bad (worse than now, see signature) back in april 2015. They upgraded me to the quicksilver and I've had all ontime payments with current utilization below 10%. I read it is a good idea to have 3 revolving accounts so I am looking to get two more cards and don't want to mess with secured cards...
I just spoke to the customer service rep for cap 1 and expressed interest in the Savor card and she said all apps are processed by a computer. She then said if i'm rejected I can ask for reconsideration by a human but that may result in ANOTHER hard pull. I've heard cap 1 does triple pulls, so it seems like that potentially could be 6 pulls.
My question for you guys is this; quick silver is considered one of their premium cards requiring good credit. Does me having a quicksilver with excellent payment history and use factor into the decision on whether or not they'll issue the Savor? Customer rep told me the minimum CL allowed for Savor is $1,000. I just feel like a computer will reject me super quick but a human wouldn't...

If I may ask, was your Capital One Platinum card a secured or unsecured card?
I would actually say not to bad with your scores and Cap1 loves you carrying balances and making them money.. That is just my thought pattern. Cap1 doesn't really care about scores and they like seeing their credit utilized. Obviously it could go either way and be a triple pull
Also what is your CL on your card that you have a 3k balance with? It isn't fully maxed is it? Your FICO's arent bad for Cap1 standards and probably being dragged down by the Utilization of that card you mentioned among possible other things
The only score that scares me a bit more is your TU scores.. Is there something on that that isnt on your EQ/Exp scores being a baddie or something that isnt showing on the other two? My scores are right around 700 depending on CRA and I have many many cards in the 25k-35k range.. Scores arent everything alot goes into a credit profile such as AAoA, Util, Baddies/Goodies etc.

Im almost wondering if OP meant that his CL is $3k... not his balance, as he said that he is uner 10% util.... I doubt his QS has a $30K CL, since it was PC from a Platinum and is probably bucketed at $3k max possible CL or so - I think thats a more realistic scenario
OP - Do you have the Quicksilver or the Quicksilver one ($39 annual fee card)?

Probably right..
.. If that is case I still think he has a strong chance other then his TU score is only wild card... To get Venture, QS or the dining card many people have had 670's scores and got 10-30k CL's.. Depending on what is on his TU is kinda going to be answer TBH. Although cap1 really counts on EQ more than anything although they pull all 3. Funny thing about cap1 when they say excellent credit and the criteria it is way off from what they actually approve
. Although OP's scores aren't really bad other then TU is a bit low
If the FICO scores in your siggy are correct, all in the upper 500 range. IMHO, You WILL NOT be approved. You WILL BE declined.
