Chase 30 day status message..Good or bad?

Applied online for a Southwest Visa. Message I recieved had no length of time for decision. Called the satus line got the 30 day message. Is this better than the 7-10? Just curious

Conventional wisdom seems to suggest that 30 day and 2 week messages are better than 7-10 days.

To expand further on the 30 day message specifically it means they need UW to process your app so wait while checking the application status line til the message changes. So aside from an instant approval this is the next best message to get.

simplynoir is right.

Call the automated line once daily to check for a status change, if it changes to a 14 day message its an almost certain approval.

If it changes to 7-10 days it could mean further verification is needed so you will want to transfer to a live agent to either verify or recon.

I got the same message last weekend I believe, I had to verify some things and was approved on the phone for the sapphire preferred with a 18.7k limit. Good luck, I’d say chances are good for you though.
