So, I saw I still had the $30 gift on my Amazon.com account. I then went to my Chase online account and shows both my Freedom and Amazon accounts and shows I have the $2k limit on the Amazon card. So, I called Chase and talked to the guy about the Amazon card, and he confirmed that it is active and the card was mailed out on April 28.....so, why the heck did this letter from Chase generate on 4/24?? Oh well, I won't be facing rejection afterall I guess. Do I really need this card....absolutely not. I was sort of hoping to get a free credit report out of TU as a consolation. Oh well.

Can you post the rest of your credit profile?
Everything is updated and listed in my sig line. Not sure what else I could provide other than I'm 5 ft 8, fat, old and going to be a grandfather later this year
Credit Utilization, Inquiries? lol
Ahhh ok, I have 1% utilization on all of my cards and have total credit of $82k available. Right now I have $750 spread over 5 cards and $400 of that will be paid off tomorrow when my paycheck hits my bank, so I'll actually be down to $350. I never carry a balance over, I pay the cards off every 2 weeks. It's funny actually to go on my online banking and see all of my transactions the past month since I started utilizing rewards cards as being my check deposit from my employer, and payments made online to the credit card companies. I haven't withdrawn money out of my bank in 3 weeks, and even then it was only for $30. As for the inquiries, yes I do have several over the past month from the app spree I went on. Experian: 10 (4 of those were pertaining to truck loan inquiries in December and January). Equifax: 6 (4 in April and 2 in January); TU: 16 (6 April; 3 in January (car loan inquiries) and 6 in August of 2013 when I was getting a loan for my other Tundra that I recently traded in). So, I realize the app spree has messed me up a bit, but those inquiries in April will really not factor much, if at all by the end of this year. I'm resisting the force of the dark side and staying in the garden.

There's your consolation prize.... it may not be directly from the horse's mouth but it's pretty direct.
The only time I actually care to see the actual TU is when I want to see my softs, but of course there are "other" ways to do this if I really needed it.

I use CreditKarma too. It should be updating on Sunday. You can get a full report within 60 days after a rejection. That's what I'm after.

If you don't get best terms then you should still be eligible to get your free report. BofA sent me such a letter after my CLI request which I gambled high and they countered with a lower amount. With this limit I assume you did not get best APR ?
I just dispute an old/false address every couple months or update employment. free reports during a rebuild. Some newscaster just recommended i check my credit reports once a year, lmao. I guess they will allow 2 per year at annualcreditreport soon (like that will save us from identity theft).
congrats on Chase Amazon
