Chase Amazon Declined

Solely for being over 5/24. What are you guys saying to UW/Supervisors to get around? I literally do not understand how people with more accounts opened in 24 months are getting approved. Besides income, but I would say $65k is fair for this card. UW says my profile overall minus the 5/24 incident looks great.. *internally screams*

I don't think most of us had to call in. I'm 7/24 and it was instant approval. I believe there was an 18/24 approval someplace around here!

$65K/year should more than enough to get your foot in the door. What are your scores? baddies? AAoA?

Lol i feel ya though my income is lowSmiley Wink. Got denied too yet people get 20k increases on a card Chase knows wont be used that high on those cards. If anything i internally cry for actually tempting fate with Chase lol. Lessons learned, 5/24 is dead to me now so if anything ill try to lower my inqs for my own sake not to try and get a big Banks approval who could still find a reason to close an account one strove for with credit sweat and tearsSmiley Wink

Chase makes me want to scream. They seem so ridiculously stingy and conservative and for no real reason other than nobody can do anything about it and we're Chase so just deal with it. You know Chase makes no sense when it's better to app for a new card and move that limit over to a current card and close the new card than it does to try and get a CLI on your existing card. Some people seem to have a lot of success with Chase and some people never seem to get anywhere with them and just looking at the DPs it seems like there is no real rhyme or reason for it.
