Chase Amazon Denial/Recon?

Update, as promised:

I got a call from Chase on Monday and the decision was a no.

Reason: Too much available credit (LOL i'm only at $245k), too many open accounts (LOL), chapter 7.

I'm lauging because in my eyes, those reasons are just absurd...except for chapter 7 :-)

As i was previously reading, it looks like Chase is not approving ANYONE who has a ch7 even if it's old.

I recently applied for this card as well and am going to try recon tomorrow. I tried before for a Mary Kay card & didn't get that one but didn't see an HP so I didn't push the issue- but I still want both cards. So I'll open up my letter tomorrow & look at their reasoning & try calling back. I also got a denial for the store card through synchrony due to unveriable info, which I'm probably not going to recon since I'll probably just wait and get the ones I want later like the Stash hotels, Ebates & Car Care & BR.
