For what ever it's worth. I was shopping on Amazon last night and kept getting the offer (I forget, but it would have been something like $80 off the item I was looking at) for a discount by opening the card (backed by Chase).
I believed it was going to be a SP (don't ask me why, maybe because Amazon just gave me a really sweet CLI recently, or I was just too tired to pay attention that late at night/early morning), but it was a HP, EX only though.
I have no baddies, no lates, etc, but I do have a lot of inquiries over the past 12 months, and Experian is the only bureau that my auto loan(s) are not reported to :/
With the new mortgage that just started reporting, I don't have a lot of mix or history on EX, and I did get the 'Under Review' message so the inquiries and new accounts in the past 2 years probably did me in.
it's ok. I was banking on an approval with a SP, and a higher CL than my current lowest non-reward card (which I've had less than a year). I would have closed the lower one.
Chase Amazon will usually be a single or double HP, they do not do SP's. Did you get approved?
No, but I'm sure I will be with so many new accounts and inquiries in the past year. I didn't get a denial, but something about my app needing further review, etc. Still, it's all good. I know there are people who like to know who pulls which bureau.

@Anonymous is a hardpull as @Anonymous stated. But that is a co-branded card so will keep fingers crossed for you. Keep us posted on results.

oh yeah, I knew that immediately as soon as I got the notification from EX
Thanks, I will update when I get a final answer
