Got instant approval for Chase FU 2 months ago, albeit for only $500. Saw the preapproval green checkmark on my Chase login and took it. Approval came up around 30 seconds later. FICO was around 630 or so.
Suppose a pre-qual might be the only way around it... Thanks for the additional DP though. Suspect if you try any non pre-approvals you would get 30 day message or two week one, etc. and it would be off to manual UW.
