Chase Amazon visa 7-10 day phone message?

I applied for the Chase amazon visa and received the 7-10 day message on the status line. I'm assuming this is a denial. I have a few other Chase cards.

Most likely it is a denial.  I was reading in another thread that the 30 day notice is usually a approval and the 7-10 is a denial.  When I applied I received the 30 day but when I called in to the auto attendant it said it was a 7-10 wait, so I guess I'm a no as well.

95% of time with 7-10 days on automated phone it is a denial.  Wait for the letter and take it from there.  Best of luck

Hoping for the best for you! I thought it was interesting that when one applied they had to check a box saying they were not late on any other credit cards and did not have any baddies on their report before the application would come up.

Good luck. Most of the time 30 days is approved and 7-10 days is denied. It can be different tho. I had a 7-10 on my Amazon and was approved.

I'm checking a chase status this week too and every time I call and enter my SSN into the automated line it wants to transfer me. A guy answered last night and he told me too soon and no decision was made... this morning... it tried to transfer me and I hung up.
Used to just give me a recording. Not sure why it keeps wanting to transfer me.
