Ok Guys my CS is 662 transuninion i dont know the rest. I applied for the chase Amazon Signature Visa Car. I got the 7 to 10 day message. i called for three days this was onthe 29th. of may 2017, i have 8 closed accounts 2 cards in collections and a few recent 7 recent cards low credit scores. I figured since everyone was saying its an auto turn down, i called the reconsideration line and they had not finsihed processing the app. the sent me to someone else, they ask me security questions and such. ok then the gentleman tells me i am approved for a 2000.00 cl and then he said no wait 4000.00, i got and it has already been added to my amazon account as my defaught payment method, highest CL I have ever gotten on any card i have. Amex 1000.00 Discover 1300.00 cap one 300.00 i am very surprised as my credit really sucks so if you are waiting 7 to 10 days, call the RC number.

Everyone gets a 7-10 day message *online* if not instantly approved. This can be for many reasons and means nothing.
A 7-10 day message on the *auto status line* usually means denial. Technically it means a letter was generated.
If it's "2 weeks" or "30 days" on the auto status line, it's usually an approval. Not true 7 to 10 status is not a denial read my other post. from todays dateNot true 7 to 10 status is not a denial read my other post. from todays date

I applied for freedom unlimited yesterday received 30-day message. Then toda it went to two weeks, spoke to them today. They stated that it was because my file was locked . Got declined because I my cc debt was to much based on my income. That was after gave them my pin to unlock report. So I really can’t say if the 7 -10-day notice is always bad news. Another note I did snag a Amex last night.
I applied for both the Chase Sapphire Prefferred and Sapphire Reserve yesterday. Noticed a hard pull on Experian only..CS 738. Called the auto line to day, says 2 apps being reviewed. 1st said i'll hear in 7 to 10 days, 2nd said "two weeks". Maybe only approved for one? I really want the Reserve, and applied for Prefferred first because i wasn't paying attention...fingers crossed......
Chase has clamped down on issuing Credit cards....My dad has a 787 fico score with 15 years of ex 3 HP on EX 3% untilization and was denied lol....no baddies the reason given were too many new accounts! 3 accounts in 18 months is too many? wow.
