I was just approved for the United MileagePlus for $5k a few days ago. I've been starting to give my CSP some spend recently so decided to request for an increase today. CSP is at $5k, requested it to go to $40k. It instantly denied initially, called and recon recommended it for approval. Called back for status and the lady said it was pending but it looked good, and asked a few questions to help the underwriter out. She said due to total exposure someone with a higher lending authority had to sign off. Current Chase exposure is as follows:
CFU - ~57k/~110k (made payment today)
CSP - 0/5k
Hyatt - 0/5k
Amazon - 1.5k/10k
JPM Reserve - ~1k/~10k
United - 0/5k
Ink - 0/20k
Underwriter said they weren't worried at all with CFU balance because I have a trend of PIF, do you guys think I have a shot?
I know that chase has an overall limit that they are willing to extend so you end up moving credit from one card to another. You have a chase ink with no balance why don't you move some of the cfu spend there. Of course I see you have the jpm reserve so maybe a talk with a chase banker might get you somewhere
