yeah but man the anxiety is killing me, i need to know if i should move on... after this im just looking for the SPG Amex and im off to garden for the next 2 years. and hopefully it works out because like i said if they were to deny me why would they need to verify my address change,
Chase internal memo: yeah lets deny this guys credit app, but first make sure his address is correct, so we can send his denial to the correct address.
lol sorry that the only thing i picture, which hopefully isnt what is gonna happen lol
Are you able to get your utilization down before applying for the Amex?
i should be around 35-30 percent by the end of the month, i actually just checked my email and AMEX send me a prequal invite for the Amex platinum card which is nuts because i just got the PRG however right now i dont have anything else major that i would be able to spend 5k on in order to get the bonus. So i think ill just wait it out and hopefully when i have a next big purchase ill be able to get it.
Also i faxed my required address verification to chase she told me it could still take up to 30 days... how long should i wait before checking again
got anxious and called today again to "check if they had recieved my fax" lending specialist mentioned that it can take up to 5 business days for them to see it in their system and there was nothing there yet so i should wait 5 days... ARGHHHHH
im not necesarily stuck in it just paying things down, i understand the whole thing about not carrying a balance, but i have my budget set up and i know what debt i can and cant take on
I hear you, I would just suggest trying to adopt a philosophy of paying things off rather than down. When you carry balances, especially at 30%-40% utilization or more, you never know what life may throw at you. A job loss, medical issue, etc. basically anything that could cause you to not be able to stick to that budget you were referring to. Also with that PIF philosophy you'll put yourself in a much more favorable position when it comes to credit applications, credit line increases, etc. Just something to think about and consider over time as it really does make everything better and easier.
yeah i hear ya, im im paying down but pay off.. like my lowest balance cards are being payed off, so now i only have a couple of cards to worry about, besides thats why i jumped on the Amex offer for the PRG because im focusing on only paying in full each month, but i apprecaite the feedback
