I applied for the CSP on 4/27. I was initially denied, reason stating "too many requests for credit or accounts opened with us." I thought that was an odd denial, so I took a shot to call recon the next day.
When talking with a rep, she informed me I entered the wrong SSN. I corrected and apologized for the mistake, and she sent me some verification codes and relooked over the app. This took her about 15 min, and she only really asked me why I wanted the card. I explained my work travels, appreciating Chase UR and the ecosystem better than other cards, and am looking to make this my main card (all is true, I can't justify the Amex Green anymore as CSP would be much better for me) I did not mention but that welcome bonus would be great for all our moving expenses this month too lol.
Since then, I've called the app status line daily and always receive the 2 week message. I've read plenty of threads on the different messages.
My question is this: for those that have experienced similar experiences how long did it take you to get approved/denied? Is it two weeks for a letter and then another week or two to receive the card if approved?
to add: I'm fully aware that I could be denied, this anticipation is just starting to kill me lol
It could be that for whatever reason the robolady isn't relaying the current status of your application. It does take about a week after an approval to receive a card.
Call the recon line again and ask if there's any additional information they need to complete processing the application because robolady hasn't updated with a status change.

Thanks for the reply, maybe I'll just go ahead and do that. I've just read on many posts to not call so I've been very hesitant and trying to wait it out lol. However, tomorrow marks the 2 week mark and I haven't heard anything.

It's perfectly reasonable to call and tell them you're just following up because after 2 weeks the automated system is telling you a decision hasn't been made and you want to check if there's anything they need to move the application along.

Well, I called. The lady told me pretty much the same thing. She said the application is still under further review and I will be notified of the decision in 1-2weeks. She said I can also call back in 24-48 hours to find out a decision sooner.. and the waiting continues..
Robolady still says 2 week message.
Update: I was approved. 6k SL. Received email today and card is appearing in my account.
