I am considering pulling the trigger on getting the Chase CSR Card, but I have a question for anyone who has navigated the path.
In the Chase Credit journey app, it says "You are already approved" for a 21K line.
If I wanted something closer to 25K or higher, am I better off applying online or at a branch, or should I accept the offer, and if the line comes in at 21K, then call the reconn line? Has anyone gotten a higher line than what the preapproved amount was shown as? Any advice or best practices here?

take the $21k offer and just build the limit overtime with CLIs, IMO, is your regular spend on the card truly going to be over $20k/monthly?
no other chase limits I take it?

Agree, I'd bet that you can squeeze an extra $4K CLI out of them sooner rather than later
I called in to recon after I was initially approved for my CSR. They bumped it up to match my Amex BCE I had at the time. The underwriter asked a few questions, put me on hold for a minute, and came back saying he had raised the limit.
I think you're looking a gift horse in the mouth. The card's minimum limit is a lot lower (I think $5k based on the review I read on Wallethub), so the amount you have in hand is pretty good already. I always say $21K in the hand is better than $25K out there in the bush

The card minimum is $10k since it's a visa infinite
I usually put $6-8k a month on my CSR so a $21k SL wouldn't work for me.
So, I decided to pull the trigger and apply normally, and it was an instant approval for 26.6K, which is higher than the "you're already approved" offer of 21K. Interestingly, though, the rate was also higher. In the app, it was offered at 19.74, and the final approval came in at 24.99, but that won't worry me, as I try not to ever carry a balance.
Thank you to everyone for your advice. I think this is one that can grow with time.
