USB Shopper cash card pre approval question

I did the pre approval for the Shopper cash card and it said we will let you know. Got an email 10 minutes later saying now that I am pre approved to complete my application.

Is this legit?

I am 3/6 and 3/12, have checking/savings with them, was approved for Cash+ recently.

I know I should probably wait but this is the last card for my portfolio 😆

This is how my Smartly card pre-approval went. I called in to verify, and they were able to confirm it was legit, as well as tell me the pre-approved limit. Good luck!

@C316 I would venture to say, yes. I have found U.S. Bank's pre-approvals to be pretty solid. But, yeah, when you do the pre-approval and they pre-approve you, they ask you to complete the application. All sounds good. If you want it, I'd say take the leap. And, then, let us know.

7-10 message like my last USB app. Needed verification and an explanation about inquiries last time 😆

We shall see, my guess is if approved it will be $500 or $1k limit and that's fine. I can always get it to grow with usage.

All the data points about X/6 and X/12 are all over the place. Some approval some denials.

And.........APPROVED! No call, no nothing. Appd last night about 9:30 pm and got the approval email today at 9:45 am.

And its SL is $15K same as my Cash+ that was approved last week.

I think I got everything I wanted now after not applying for anything for a couple years.

5 for 5, B of A Custom cash $24K, Aven 3% card $15K, USB Cash+ $15K, USB Shopper cash $15K and Chase Freedom Flex $20K.

Off to garden for a while and get CLI's so my AAoA doesn't drop to far under 90 months. When the new accounts report should be about 82 months.

It’s from their official email address, right? If so, sounds legit. That doesn’t mean you’re guaranteed to get approved, but if a hard inquiry won’t cost you in the next few months, you could give it a go.
