I am new on this board and needing some advice. I applied for a Chase Credit card on 1/27/2018 and its 4/2/2018 now. Everytime I call the number for checking on the applicaiton, I get "its under review". Really?! 3 months......help! Any advice I would really appreciate it.

I have followed this forum since 2004 and love to read all the advice on here. I haven't run across anything like my quesiotn.

Just the automated. I tried calling customer service but it asks for my 16 digit card number.......

Can't get anywhere thats why I posted on here. Grrrrrr

I don't have chase but there must be a way for non cardholders to speak with an agent. Is the number you're calling only for credit cards? Have you tried the main customer service number? I'm sure they can transfer you to an underwriter if you explain the situation.

I will give anything a shot. I will call the main number and try. I have never experienced a CC taking this long before.

Helpful Chase numbers:

Chase: 1-888-270-2127 (Analyst) ~Credit_hawk

Chase: 800-945-2000 (App status with option to speak to rep.) ~SGTtar

Yea that's not normal.
I could be some sort of glitch - like the app status wasn't properly updated in the system after review. Or maybe the app somehow slipped thru the cracks and was never reviewed. Very strange but i think the main CS number may be your best shot in getting a human on the phone. If for some insane reason that doesnt work, go to a local branch.

Thank you all. I appreciate you all on here. I have worked hard a rebuilding my credit and have 2 - CC and hoping for this Chase CC to come.
