I called over 4 times to recon and they said the exact same thing as the letter.
My false collection fell off this morning on equifax . fell off the other reports over a week ago. score is all back in the mid 700s.
I call this morning and let them know my collection was removed being false. Got approved after some verifcation process.
Seems like the only thing that was holding me back was a simple collection. I have never been late on my credit card payments ever. all of the other things they have listed didnt matter. Like other members said. Chase likes clean reports and they are right.
Get this, In the past month alone, i got a discover, navy federal cash rewards, american express BCE, american express PRG and local CU credit card.
In the past 2 years, ive opened 3 other cards making that 8 total accounts within 2 years. This new Freedom card will be my 9th.
Straight to the garden i go!
