Chase Disney 2 week message but slate 7-10 days

I applied for two chase cards. One was the Slate one was the Disney. The slate said it needed further review so I called and they denied it due to more than a certain number of accounts opened in two years. Same with Disney, went to pending but I didn't call on that one. My wife who is active in here a lot said not to call. When I call the app status love it says on the slate l will receive notification in 7-10 days but the Disney says 2 weeks. Is the Disney likely also declined?

no the disney is approved....any of the co-branded cards do not have the 5/24 rule applied to them....you can have two approvials in a 30 day period...and a total of 4 apps on file. If you are wanting a no annual fee chase card the AARP card, Amazon card, and the Zappos.com card have no annual fee that you can apply for and should be approved. the IHG card has a $49 annual fee like the disney card. After that it goes up to $75 with the Hyatt, and then $95+ on all the other ones.

How long do you think before it shows up in my account log in? I have a freedom that's I've had for two years.

It could take awhile.   Some people have waited for up to 30 days before the approval actually goes thru.  Hard to do, but just be patient.

Small nit.  The card isn't approved as of yet.  Most likely it will be but until that status changes to 'approved', nothing is guaranteed.

Re: Chase Disney 2 week message but slate 7-10 days

When did you apply for your Disney Visa?  I applied last Tuesday for two cards, Freedom and Disney Visa.  7-10 on one and 2 week on the other, only I don't know which is which because they were apped on the same day, but speculation was that the Disney was probably the one with the two week notice due to recent inquiries and accounts. My 2 week message has not yet changed and I have not yet received the expected denial notice for the 7-10 day one.  Trying to wait patiently...

Don't give up hope! I have had great luck with Chase approvals recently (since Jan 1) after receiving the non-answers on the website. For 2 of them, I received calls from the verification department two days after I applied. On the other 1, I received a letter from the verification department weeks after applying instructing me to call them. Called them this morning and I was approved for my 3rd Chase card this month. And my scores absolutely blow.

I applied for the Slate yesterday. Called, that's when the rep said declined for too many open accounts in two years. Then when my wife told me usually the co branded cards are exempt from that rule I applied today for the Disney. That's the app that's says 2 weeks. The slate that I already know is declined is saying 7-10 days on the auto line.

Ah. I see. I hope you get an answer quicker than I have. Smiley Happy  I don't have any current Chase accounts to check in via unfortunately so I just have to wait it out as I don't want to call.

Anyway, good luck!

Katso I hope you get at least one of them!!! I'll have to message you or you should message me to update. I'm super curious what they messages mean for Chase. My freedom which I've had for a couple years was an instant approval so this is new to me.
