I need help figuring out how long to garden and apply for the Chase Disney Premier card. My Disney World trip & Disney Cruise will take place the end of March 2016, my Cruise has to be paid off in Mid January 2016. We frequent Disney and I really want the card. When should I try for it? Does Chase ever send out preapprovals?
I was approved for a Chase Freedom yesterday. My scores are EQ 636 EXP 675 Trans 670. I have a 10 mth old paid State tax lein and Paid Judgement that's due to fall off in 2016, forgot exactly when, no other negatives. Started rebuilding June 2014.
I get the Disney preapproval mailer probably once a week. So they definitely send them. Not sure what the requirements are though.
IMO wait and let the freedom age at least 6 statements then your internal score with Chase should be a bit higher due to the freedom and hopefully your other scores will rise a bit more in the mean time as well and don't apply for really any more new credit until then and I would say you will have a good shot .

Freedom is practically the easiest card to get in the Chase lineup...did you get a low starting limit? Your score should be able to get you a Disney card but you just got a Freedom yesterday.
Don't waste another HP if you just got your first Chase card yesterday.
I got my Disney around ~680 score with only 2K limit.

I thought Slate was? Oh well.
Like Te3030 said, wait. I'd wait longer than 6 months though. The more baddies to fall off, the better. If not, just get your AAOA up since getting a new card sinks that down for a bit.
