Chase Disney Card... anyone have any experience with approvals after further review?

Let me start by saying I am going into the "garden" until next year this time.....

So this month I've went on an app spree of sorts.. I received via the shopping cart trick (soft pulls) 3 credit cards, small limits. I received a USAA visa card $1K limit (hard pull) Target Card $300 (hard pull) and I was declined for the Citi and DiscoverIT cards (both hard pulls, due to my 3 y/o BK)  I decided to apply for the Chase Disney Card. (I already have a trip booked, just was going to pay it off with the Disney card to receive the points.) Well I received the your application requires additional processing,. if you're approved you will received your card in 10-30 days.. blah blah blah.. So I called the CSR and she pulled my application and it hasnt been declined, it requires additional processing and the lending department doesnt open until 8am tomorrow am. She was really nice, provided me with their # etc... my question to the community, has anyone received this particular card with a BK? My TU score is 657, Equifax is 639 (not sure what my experian is) CC utilization is 21% according to Equifax.Your comments and thoughts are much appreciated.... and I know, I know, I definitely need to go into the garden. I think that the 10-30 days is generally verification. I've gone through this with them, the 7-10 days is usually denial. Smiley Embarassed Hopefully for you it will be just answer a few questions and approved! Keep us posted OP!

Forget the chase disney card.

If you bank with Chase, send a secured message to get the disney DEBIT card. It offers all of the perks (except for the 6 month financing and disney "reward dollars" which are terrible anyway). It will still get you into the chase exclusive cardmember meet and greet, and will get you the merchandise and restaurant discounts. Way to go in my opinion. No credit check necessary if you're already a banking customer.

I'm going to disney in december and asked chase to change my debit card, it happened with no issue, and i'll gladly take my free professional photo with the characters....because I'm a child Smiley Tongue

I got two chase cards with scores not much higher than yours. I have banked with them in the past so they saw the ammount of money that goes through my account I don't know if that helped or not. Because you have already taken the hard pull I dont think switching to the debit card at this point is worth it. If you are declined then of course that is an option. I will tell you one more advantage of the credit card vs the debit card. THe credit card designs look better. I know that wont matter to many people, but if you are a disney fan you will appreciate it.

I can imagine that the credit card itself isn't much different from the Chase Disney debit card, which I already have. I'd rather get a Chase card like the Freedom or CSP.

Re: Chase Disney Card... anyone have any experience with approvals after further review?

Thank you all for your info and input. I don't bank with Chase, I have b of A and a credit union. But I'll certainly look into it should I get hit with a denial. Smiley Happy

Re: Chase Disney Card... anyone have any experience with approvals after further review?

Update! I was denied :/ because the BK is only 3 years old. I did recon and the declination stood because my newest card has a high balance. Well that sucks! At least I know!
