Chase Disney part of 5/24?

My husband has quite a few new accounts but a couple of months ago we applied for the Disney Chase and were denied. I honestly forget their reasoning. He is "in" with every bank BUT Chase and we go to Disney frequently which is why we want the card. Any chance that it is suddenly part of the 5/24 rule?

Disney is not part of the 5/24 rule.. Although it still can be denied for too much recent credit, but not an auto denial due to 5/24.

No disney is not part of the 5/24 rule as it is a co-branded card. Good luck and try to re-con the denial. If you do re-con, let us know the status.
