Got the Freedom, PIF, 9 months later approved for Southwet Premier 16k, Marriott 11k and United Explorer 11k. Good luck !
thats so good!
I applied for Chase Freedom a couple of weeks ago and received the 7-10 day message, which I thought was bad news. Seven days later, I received an email with the subject " Welcome to Chase Freedom". In saying this, you still have a chance

Thats good to hear. I haven't heard anything yet. I've been checking the mail, checking my email and calling the automated system waiting for a reply back. When I call the automated system its says your application is being reviewed and you will be notified in writing within 7-10 business days. Is this the same message you received as well? & Did you get the 30 day email too? If you don't mind sharing your experience. I'm a bit anxious today... lol

I just appd for IHG MasterCard yesterday, got the 30 day screen of death, called in and the auto robot said 30 days, called verification and answered a few questions , approved for 11k. That's 4 new Chase cards since Thanksgivving 2015
Curious, how do you know to call verification? I apped for the Freedom the other day and got the 7-10 day message. Auto robot says 2 weeks. I'm trying to be patient, but I'm wondering if calling some phone number would push it through? I guess what I'm asking is, how do you know if/when you should call verification? Or did you just chance it?
So I didn't get approved. Got a letter today stating that I have too many credit cards open in 2 years. So basically, its going to take 2 years before I get a chance to get this card. Any reconsideration tips? I called and my first attempts was not so good. The agent offended me and cristized me for when I was very ill in college... I almost cried on the phone. I told him about it and he apologized and I hung up. I have perfect payment history on all my cards. He said my score was not a problem. I said I make $125,000 a year and I know that can be verified via my checking accounts and he said that doesn't matter. I wanted to say, shall I take all five of my accounts to another bank will that matter?
I don't know guys. another recon might not go so well..What do you all think?
