Just wanted to share this information with anyone who is considering applying with Chase. I called one of their Backdoor Numbers, talked to 2 general reps.. They basically tried to say I had too many deliquencies when in reality the only deliquency I have is 1 collection account of $100 bucks thats like 75 months old. I have some inquiries but anyway you cut it.. I have a clean Transunion of 709 pts, Exp 620, Equifax 620. The 1 collection is on both Experian and Equifax.
They dont want anyone who has relatively a clean credit report, which generally resembles a small amount of credit history.
Just an FYI BEWARE. If you are considering applying with Chase.
Sorry for your experience... But I love my chase CC.

Also. Sorry you got wrong information. My credit is still not 2 years old and my average age is just 1 year. and i have had the freedom almost 6 months. So this information is from a misinformed rep that you talked to. Chase like any other bank like reports clean as possible. I simply overloaded my report with so many positives even though it was still new. it was kind of hard to deny me.
That is so odd, I got approved for Freedom with only 10 months history, although my reports were clean, maybe they are less tolerant of baddies if your history is shorter? That would be my guess.
Wait, you only have one tiny collection account that is more than 6 years old and some inquiries and your EQ and EX FICOs are in the 620s? Sorry, something about this seems a little off. What is your utilization?
Yes, definitely incorrect information. I was approved for freedom with an AAoA of 6 months and my oldest account was 1.3 years.
I received the Freedom Card with 1.2 yrs of history ie Credit One card in the amount of $450.Feb-2014 . 1 1/2 yrs Later Aug - 2015 4 Chase Cards
Chase Freedom $20000 , Chase IHG $20000 , Chase Marriott $20500 . CHASE Southwest $10000 Love that CHASE
So you only have one collection for $100? Is it paid? Maybe check out the rebuilding forum to see if you can get that collection removed. Chase tends to like squeaky clean files (although if your collection is over 6 years old and for only $100, I would think they would overlook that much).
Maybe they just want some more payment history because you have the collection. I got Freedom with just about a year of credit history.
sorry for the denial, but telling people on here "beware" of applying to Chase because they only want clean profiles is inaccurate information. I know a few peeps on here who have BK, which is the worst of the worst you could ever have a your report, and got approved.
Its all about your profile. Chase will approve with negs on a report, it just wasnt yours. Sorry
