Freedom is tricky... Seen people with 620's get approved.. On the safe side 650 -570 wil probaby get it for you...  They can pull TU/EQ or EX or a combination if they so choose...  The best bet is to get your scores up more OPT-IN if you aren't already and try the Pre-Qual Site for Chase ... If it pops up, more then likely you will be approved.. Very few times have people been turned down via the pre-qual site.  Nothing is set in stone, but that is my thoughts on the matter.  Best of luck on building your credit or re-building your credit.

I don't see why going to the pre-qual site doesn't bypass your opt-out. You are reaching out to them, not the other way around.

Because the website is basically seeing if a mailer has been sent. Its a marketing tool, so if you opt out then your not going to receieve any mailers or marketing.

Also i got approved for freedom with score around 680 they did double pull EX and EQ? Got CSP with about 670's and they only single pulled EX. Do you have any baddies?

cause of 95 AF after first year I am guessing and the higher spend requirement and nerfed benefits... I am still enjoying it though... Best Travel card I have now and will enjoy the 50k UR approx after meeting spendSmiley Happy.

I am personally loving it... Eating out alone this weekend with the bars and what not I spent around $250 so 500 points... can't beat that!  Nice card too, best looking card as well.. Can't wait to hold the Ritz towards the middle or end of the year if the CSP is so nice, can only imagine the Ritz lol...  Granted I am in it for the bonus and perks, but nice to have psuedo metal card now and a full metal card in the near future..  Chase has finally opened their arms for me...  3 cards max with them though IMO is my thoughts, the 95 fee is nothing with how much I eat out, it is well worth it imo..  At the moment my main Card is the CSP and Freedom and using Amex to meet spend requirement then that will kinda go on back burner

Re: Chase Freedom Card

OP I have gotten approved for the freedom. They pulled TU for me (So Cal). My score at the time was 689. My starting limit was 2200.  My AAOA is 6 months. If you decide to app for another card an its declined due to too many request for credit, you can call the backdoor an ask for a recon (888-270-2127 (Application Recon); 888-245-0625 (Credit Analyst – Recon) . I did an got the slate CL2000 an amazon CL2000. Overall my guess would be 680+ an your good to go (YMMV). Best of luck.
