Chase Freedom Invitation Mailer

I recieved an invitation for Chase Freedom, showed a set APR (22.9% pretty high)...Now I'm glad to be on their radar as i plan to apply for Hyatt later this month, but will pass on Freedom due to 5/24. I took this time to read terms and conditions, but didnt see information on 5/24 rule. Does Chase disclose 5/24 rule??

Re: Chase Freedom Invitation Mailer

They won't disclose it but if denied the denial letter would probably say "too many accounts in the last 24 mos" or something along those lines.

Re: Chase Freedom Invitation Mailer

If they are going to have something so specific and strict as part of thier application process they should discluse it confidently..

Re: Chase Freedom Invitation Mailer

I received mailer, albeit February to March 2015. Approved with 5 cards in last 6 months. But, they seemed more concerned with if I closed any accounts. Since not churning at the time, insta approved. YMMV, have had 3 chase cards, all insta approved.
