My plan is to stay in garden until summer of next tear but chase freedom balance transfer offer is calling my name.  I want to transfer my stash balance to the 0% interest offer. What are the odds of approval and who do they pull? My equifax is the lowest with a old judgment . I have 11 inquires on all reports and 4 new accounts. Stash, care credit, neimans and Barclays. Should I wait? I'm afraid of denial because of the new accounts.

Chase likes EX. I got the freedom last year with a 660 I think, w/baddies. Got a few questions tho before we dig further into your overall profile...

1. How new are your 4 new accounts?

2. Have you obtained any other cards in the last 2 years other than the aforementioned 4? Think hard.

The 4 accounts were opened last month. Co signer on a car this feb. 

i decided des to wait on the application and garden a little bit. I want the United mileage. I love united and since I'm a member the email me offers every single month. Im just terrified I will be denied.

@xterror...lol i just hate to see someone get smacked down over the 5/24

AsiaBA...not a bad idea to wait with 4 accounts that new. Not saying you wouldn't get approved now, but waiting a bit could be the difference between instant approval with decent SL and having to recon. Research the 5/24 rule if you already haven't. When the time does come and if you still want the freedom, make darn sure to app for that first before the United card or any other card for that matter.

Out of curiosity, have you hit the Chase prequal page recently??

Chase is strange, they are up and down. I was approved for the Freedom 4 months ago. The only thing I had at the time was The Milestone Card and two brand new Cap1 cards with 300$ limits. I had two collections (unpaid) and two Cap1 chargeoffs that were less than 3 years old. They gave me a 30 day notice and I forgot all about it. I got a letter from the fraud dept asking me to call. They asked me a few questions and approved me with a 4k limit. So it's a crap shoot. With my CO's and collections on Experian. They also did a Hard pull on transunion where I had an additional 9 medical collections on there in addition to the CO's.

I'm in the 30-day pending purgatory. I'm really hoping that the card just shows up like others have experienced. This is this 3rd day that the recording mentioned 30-days. But after hearing stories like this, I'm optimistic. I'm not a churner and have been looking forward to having the CSP for a few years now. Crossing my fingers. I'd really like to put the card through its paces on an upcoming international trip.

I would say if you got the 30 day message you may have a good shot at it. It's the 7-10 day that usually means denial. What is your credit profile look like?

My Chargeoffs have since been deleted as well as the Medical Collections on Trans. I will have to work on getting the 2 additional collections off soon. They just refuse to PFD.

Thank you for the reply guys! I will wait it out and definitely apply for this. My experian is good, clean-just brand new accounts and 11 inquiries. Two falls off this month.
