Generally 30 days. I applied for venture. March 29th. Equifax was frozen. I waited 30 plus days. Re applied on May 7 th. Instantly approved.

Re: Chase IGH

How would the VentureOne compare to the Barclay World Arrival Mastercard? I noticed that their sign-on bonus after spending $1,000 in the first three months is the same, but is one typically preferred over the other?

That's correct! I received my denial letter from Cap One via e-mail today, and they said the reason for the denial was because there were too many inquiries on my account, which is odd, because Cap One was the second card I applied for. Bank of America and IHG came after that, and I was approved for both of those. As to my previous question, does anyone have any knowledge of the Barclay Arrival card, and would it be easier to get than the Cap One?

Sorry. Hard to believe declined with 775 fico. There is no number as too many. No cap if you can use it and repay it. Then no number. I have 27 cards and use then all. On rotation of course.

Exactly. I was just approved for the Venture Signature a couple weeks ago and just received the card the other day. My scores at the time of applying were between 665-701 on all 3 bureaus. Granted I have over 1 years of perfect history with 2 other Cap 1 cards, I don't see how they would have declined you.

Starting score from CU: (11/13) 520
Recent Scores: TU FICO 08 (7/15) 693; (8/15) 701 | EQ FICO 08 (7/15) 671 | EX FICO 08 (8/15) 684
Goal Score: (Oct '15) 700+
Cards: Cap 1 Venture Signature $5000 Limit | UFCU Visa Plat $4000 Limit | Cap 1 Quicksilver WMEC $5000 Limit | Walmart Store Card $6000 Limit | Amazon Prime Store Card $6000 Limit | Barclays Rewards $1500 Limit | Amex EveryDay Card $2000 Limit | Chase Slate $3000 Limit |

It is probably because he only put 25k of income on the application.
