So i recently aware of the 80k bonus for Chase IHG,and so i want to get the card before the promo end. Problem is because of recent car loan,i have multiple INQs on both TU+EQ within the 6 months. Also, this would be my 5th chase's card, and 2nd within 2 months. Will that increase my chance of being denied?
Background info: EX FICO 703,EQ 650,TU 720
inqs within 6 months TU 8(5 from same day),EX 3,EQ 9(5 from same day)
Uti 16% major on 4/14 account. AAoA 1.8 yrs oldest account 4yrs old in EQ+EX,8 yrs old in TU
and this i think the most important factor,i just got Chase BA a month ago, and also Barclay US airway+aMEX DELTA<=It's occur to me that i have lot of Airline's card while lacking hotel's one. Amex+BA hasn't reported yet,Barclay already did after account opening 3 days.
I'm not apping now but soon, right after i request my Amex 3x. Any thoughts?
I don't think recon would be out of the question in your case if you did decide to go for the card now.
I had 19 INQ's and a fresh Freedom when i app'ed for both SW cards. I say go for it.
Inquiries won't be your issue but possibility your Chase exposure could be. Apply and you can always recon/ move CLs around if denied.

So chase will always allow allocation of credit to open new card? Im not using my united card much and considering to mov cli away from it

Yup, they have in the past quite often. I'd only bring that up as a last resort though during recon. Sometimes though they'll bring it up
I just appd chase IHG and got approved. EX (620) is the lowest of my 3 reports and Chase always pull socre from my EX
(manybe because of my location... I reside in NY) I have 4 hard inquiries within 6 months. I have approved for Freedom like 6 months ago and been using the card responsibly. I think IHG is not hard to get compared to CSP or even Marriott.

Interesting.
My Chase Marriott app is currently pending, and they won't give me any more info over the phone.
Maybe I should call them back next week and suggest that I move CL over from my Slate.
And I really want the IHG card too, but not until next year since I'm in garden mode (started gardening right after Marriott app was submitted).
I'm an IHG member. Hmmmm nice bonus!! I'm trying to be good for my future Sallie Mae app though. ![]()

What do you mean that they won't give you any more info? What number did you call?
