How has it ended for others?
They already double pulled me to consider a CLI; therefore, I decided I would go ahead and send over the income documents they asked for.
Will they be bothered that my reported income was off by $200?
Would love to hear others experiences with this.
Update: I SM'd Chase today and they reviewed the documents and increased my Credit Limit to $5,000 (Which is what I had asked for in my original request.) Had I know it would be this much trouble I would have asked for more, however, we cannot see the future so here we are.
Not sure never seen income verification required by chase for CLI.. If it is only off $200 that is nothing.. I would be concerned if by a few thousand but 200 is nothing an rounding. Best of luck!
If I could hit our income by $5K it would be a great day. It was not that long ago we filed all our personal and biz 2016 returns. By June of 2018 I may have an idea within $15K of what we made in 2017.

Thanks,
I had not ever read about it before either which is why I thought I would ask.
The only thing I have done with Chase is requested a CLI.
It seemed to be worded as if I were applying for a new account.
I am curious as to how it will turn out because when the request was completed the representative told me I was flat out declined not that they needed additional information.

Firstly, congrats on the CLI update! Secondly, Chase considers CLIs AND new card applications as requests for credit. The only difference is 1 HP for CLI versus 2 HP for new app.
