Is the Chase Marriott subjected to the 5/24 rule? Thinking of applying but would like to know the latest since most of my cards have been opened in the last 2 years.
Is there anyone here who got approved with more than 5 new accounts in the last 24 months? If so, please post your approval date, if you don't mind sharing.
Any info is much appreciated, cheers!
Well, I pulled the trigger and got the notorious "7-10 business days" message. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. Will need lots of popcorn for this one.
***Update: could not wait, on the phone with lending as I'm typing this...***
***Update(2): approved for 5K SL, happy day!***
Ymmv...... But counting the chase Marriott I was approved for today..... I'm closer to 12/24.... Than 5/24 (just an FYI)

It's only been rumored to take effect sometime this year for co branded cards and I emphasize the word rumor because that's all it appears to be at this point. If you want it go for it.
Agreed on the rumor aspect. OP, if you want it go for it...
