Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Application?

Hello! 

I applied for this card yesterday due to the 50,000 point bonus + a $350 gift card. I was worried about being approved due to my BK7 being only 6 years old, and I know how Chase can be with BK's. I applied and it went into a pending status, so I called them today. They said it was declined due to the BK but they would reconsider, I was on hold for about 20 minutes and he said there was no reason not for me to be approved but a 2nd specialist needed to approve it due to my deposits in my account but it should be appoved by tomorrow afternoon!

Hoping to have an approval tomorrow! I think it is possible to get in with Chase while you have a BK just have a clean report since discharge!

It does occasionally happen on a case-by-case basis so there's hope.  Keep your fingers crossed!

That's a new twist on SUB's for Marriott.

Marriott use to offer upwards of 250k- 300k points I believe, for just signing up.  Then it went down to 150k, 80k, then back up to 250k (up to 50k per night five nights)  something like that.   Now, 50k points and $350 in gift cards.  That's quite a difference.

I'm waiting on the spring to fall points program, to see where those land.
