Chase Marriott Visa 30 day message

Hi

My wife apped for the Chase Marriott Visa and received a 30 day message.  Hoping she get's approved.

She keeps checking online but nothing showing up yet.  I read about some calling the backdoor number and some just waiting.  How long should she wait before calling in to follow up?

edit - she actually called the automated line and now it says she'll be notified in 7-10 days.  I'm guessing this is a denial.

When calling the app status line, 7-10 day message is normally a denial.

She could always try recon for the card, Chase can be good with that. She just needs to be ready to answer whatever they may ask to try for an approval
