Re: Chase Pre-Qualify

Congratulations on your approval for Freedom. Do you mind sharing what CL/APR you got, and what they pulled?

Re: Chase Pre-Qualify

OMG!!!  I just got a whopping $20K approved for Venture Card. Smiley HappySmiley Very HappySmiley HappySmiley Very Happy

Cain,

Chase:  12.99%, $7K, TU.

Capital One:  14.99%, $20K  TU.

I'm surprised they both pulled TU.  Based on creditboard, they seem to favor Experian with Equifax second.

Everyone, thanks again for your support and the gentle push.  I'm like a kid in a candy shop now.  It has been a long long time since I could do this.  Several years ago, ran up a tremendous amount of medical bills.  My credit was destroyed when insurance companies refused to pay.  Obamacare came too little too late for me.  I am fine and all is great now.  Healthy as as pit bull.  Run Marathons now.

You know....it is just nice to feel normal again.

Cheers Everyone and GOD Bless.  Smiley Very HappySmiley Very Happy

Congrats on the Venture approval.  They didn't however just pull TU.  CapOne pulls all three bureaus.  Most importantly great to hear about your health improvements and credit restoration.  I also think you would be approved for the Amex PRG.  It's a great time to apply for that card because of the 50K MR offer floating around.

Re: Chase Pre-Qualify

Very nice SL and APRs on both cards--congrats! Aren't you glad you pulled the trigger?

Re: Chase Pre-Qualify

Whoa...you really think I could get the AMEX PRG?  AMEX Pre-qualify gave me nothing.  Stated  "We’re sorry we couldn’t find an exclusive offer for you.  But based on your interests, we think you might like the following Cards".  I don't know....I've got 3 inq's now. BOA Secured, Chase & Cap 1.   As someone mentioned, maybe time to garden for several months.  As I mentoned before, I really would like that AMEX Gold though.

JusMe3...I'm very happy I pulled the trigger!!!

Cheers

1. I would be calling BofA next month when Cap1 and Chase report to credit and request to be unsecured.  Then call back the next day and request CLI to $20k (they will counter if not full amount)

2. Yes you could EASILY get approved for any amex you want I bet right now.

Re: Chase Pre-Qualify

Morning Folks,

You are talking to the proud owner of a brand spanking new AMEX PRG 50K MR.  YES!! Smiley Very HappySmiley Very Happy

I'm done with apps now.  Time for my FICO scores to recover...lol  Only a few points down on FICO scores.  My goal now is to get all my scores into 800's.  Hopefully with the new cards and keeping my util under 10%, I will get there soon before getting car loan in late Fall this year and mortgage next year.

Cheers Everyone,

Mohawk
