Use real money? Cash? **gasp**
I use mine like it's a debit card and pay often through the month. Get rewards on top of that. Navy I'm still figuring out; Chase has cut statements for me 3 days after my due date. Any payments made by the statement date are reflected. That's made it easy to 'control' what gets reported by paying by that date for sure.
And ugly on reports? Paid positive history isn't ugly; accounts are accounts. Use the subprimes for your benefit

LOL No not cash, I meant regular debit transactions. That helps, if accounts are accounts, then I think I got it.

Called the verification number I found in another post.

They did the phone and social verification then after a few minutes hold she came back with "Congratulations..."  Really wasn't expecting this as the offer just popped up online.

I was given the 30 day message too a few days back and was willing to ride it out. I refused to talk to anyone dealing with the application. Didn't want to give them any information they could use against me. 

It was approved 3 days later lol.
